Job Description
Build, improve, and optimize observability tools and platforms that make exploring data (metrics, logs, and traces) intuitive to enable efficient troubleshooting of software and infrastructure
Partner with engineering teams, designers, and product managers to define and refine concepts that will enable engineers across Globe to better observe, understand, and troubleshoot their software
Collaborate with other Observability and Platform teams to build for long-term leverage and extensibility and Promote observability best-practices to ensure platform resiliency, performance, and cost-optimization.
Improve operational efficiencies via scripting, bots and integrations.
Develop and maintain Monitoring and Logging Frameworks for all IT infrastructure
COMPETENCIES
1-2 years experience working in Observability / SRE / DevOps / Performance.
Experience working with cloud infrastructures, particularly AWS and GCP
In-depth experience designing at-scale monitoring and logging for corporate infrastructure services.
Expert-level experience in monitoring and logging technologies, both open source and closed source (e. g. Splunk, Grafana Stack).
Must have strong automation/scripting skills - proficiency in Python and BASH Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documentation, running books, and procedures.
Experience with alert and notification management (like Alertmanager, PagerDuty, and Slack integrations).
Experience with building dashboards (like Grafana, Loki, Sumologic, and Tenable).
Experience with distributed tracing tools.
Experience measuring the Golden Signals and DORA metrics.
Must have an understanding of SLI/SLO and the ability to implement observability tools.
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
A detail-oriented engineer, who is eager to learn and is passionate about developing software.
Ability to define a high-level strategy for operations monitoring and risk mitigation.

Knowledgeable in Devops, SRE practice
Knowledgeable in Software Development Lifecycle and Agile
Observability Development: Able to design, build and observability capabilities and enable globe propopents with it
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
At least 1-2 years of professional experience in pltaform/software engineering practice
At least 1-2 years of experience platform development and software via Python, BASH or any language
At least 1-2 years of experience delivering application performance monitoring visualizations with 1 of the following: Grafana, DataDog, New Relic, Splunk, HoneyComb or DynaTrace
At least 1-2 years of experience building application performance monitoring solutions.
At least 1-2 years of experience instrumenting application for telemetry data
At least 1-2 years of experience delivering cloud native software.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience delivering cloud native solutions.
