Responsibilities:
• Extend the business value extracted from the existing services
• Proactively identify opportunities to engage business partners regarding requirements gathering,
report design, testing and deployment
• Support for existing .NET and non .NET landscape
• Prepare SQL / Sybase scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers and views
• Develop, Test and Deploy with CI/CD pipeline for .NET solutions using the latest AWS technologies
• Create and maintain documentation of technical solutions
• Action software build and release package processes
• Performing application testing, migration and decommissioning
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional
publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
Qualifications:
• At least 5+ years' experience with .NET (2.0- 4.6 and Core) - C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript. Ideally experience with JavaScript Frameworks like AngularJS, NodeJS
• Strong RDBMS concepts - able to write complex queries with MS SQL Server/T-SQL, Sybase
• Experience with using ETL integration tool MS DTS or SSIS
• Good understanding of SOA, Web Services - WCF, RESTful, MS ASP.NET Web API, RFC
• Exposure to writing Unit Tests (NUnit), and integration with CI/CD - Jenkins, Cruise Control, Bamboo
• Experience with Source Control Management with VSS, GIT, AWS CodeCommit and good understanding to Source Control Branching Strategies
• Ideally, experience with Cloud Computing solutions like AWS, AWS Beanstalk, Lambda, AWS RDS (DynamoDB, NoSQL database services). Experience with monitoring tools preferably New Relic
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 4+ years in the application development role
• Experience in delivering IT technical service and process in line with ITIL methodology
