Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with external and internal clients Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Technical competence to navigate through insurance terms and medical references. Ability to work independently and/or as a team. Critical attention to detail for functions such as entering, verifying and comparing data. Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately. Willing to render overtime and report during weekends or holidays as needed Willing to accept additional challenges and new assignments Must be able to work on rotating shifts Nice to Haves: Preferably Business course or Admin related courses Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to exercise flexibility and judgment On the job you will: Responsible for the timely and accurate review of insurance cases involving replacements and/or 1035 exchanges Reviews basic to complex cases to ensure all requirements are met including Federal, State and SEC guidelines Does outbound calls to Life Insurance carriers in North America to follow up requests for replacements coming to JH Reviews a list of 1035-in requests and identifies the appropriate person to contact to verify funds sent to Manulife Financial/John Hancock Enters the information provided by the 1035 carriers into the Siebel system which includes reminders to follow-up requirements within the recommended timeline Updates Siebel/EDGE in a timely manner to be used by various teams or people associated with the case to ensure funds are received by Manulife Financial Our commitment to you Our mission; to be a part of making Decisions Easier and Lives Better A leadership team dedicated to your growth and success A bold ambition and set of goals to be a leader in driving transformation in our industry Our best.
