We are looking for an API Developer to work closely with the agile development team in Australia. This is a contractual arrangement but dependent on the progress and could be a permanent opportunity.
Our Australian based client is a multi-award-winning technology and agile software development company with a growing team in Cebu.

What you will be doing
You will utilise your expertise and proven ability to develop creative solutions within an innovative environment. Your main objective will be to lead integrations behind the product-agnostic of the technology.
This includes but is not limited to:
Develop software solutions by collaborating with end-users and stakeholders, studying workflow flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle based on agile and scrum.
Tasks comprising of both front-end, back-end, and database
Programming well-designed, testable, and efficient code
Working across our product, services, and internal tools to Integrate with third-party software partners
Code and feature enhancements of existing Integrations
Coordinating with our Project and Customer service team and developers to design and implement solutions
Leading projects big and small from beginning to end
Responsibilities
Development and maintenance of internal and external API Endpoints
Assist with integration and communication between applications
Researching and developing new tools to better enhance API integrations
Requirements
Have built REST APIs that expose JSON/CSV/PDF resources and exchange files
6+ years' experience in RESTful APIs across a variety of micro-services and middleware and 3rd party integrations
Experience integrating with middleware and third-party solutions
Experience in designing and prototyping software solutions based on high level architectural designs
DevOps experience with AWS
PHP Developer- LAMP stack with a focus on PHP frameworks - Laravel
Extremely proficient in MySQL
Modern web app development skills, preferably Node/ JS and React
CI/CD development/deployment practices
Secure coding best practices
Agile and Scrum methodologies
Experience working and communicating with vendors or customers internationally Is essential
Exceptional Communication skills
Solid teamwork and ability to discuss design and development openly in a collaborative agile environment
