ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for an experienced, meticulous and problem-solving Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant ready to assume a high-impact role in our growing team.
The AP Accountant will be responsible for the daily processing of invoices and employee expense claims, verifying proper documentation and performing 3-way match using Oracle Fusion. In this role, the AP Accountant will own the AP process for assigned countries, refine the existing process, identify and improve on inefficiencies in our day to day activities and contribute to internal projects.
This role is based in the Shared Service Center in the Philippines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Review and accurately process high volume AP transactions, ensure proper documentation match and obtain missing documentation as necessary, including application of accurate taxes on purchases
Track vendor prepayments and process expenses against advances in a timely manner
Handle all vendor correspondence such as reviewing and responding to vendor statements, performing vendor reconciliations and resolving invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders
Assist with month-end closing activities including proper accrual of liabilities, and preparation of AP ageing report and related Balance Sheet analysis and schedules
Maintain files and documentation in accordance with invoice/payment guidelines and regulatory compliance
Support internal and external audit requirements
Work with various stakeholders, including junior AP staff to improve AP process, controls & analysis
Develop and document new procedures and controls
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
Finance Shared Service team members in the Philippines
Functional teams in different markets (SG/PH/ID/SL/AU/JP)
Regional FC and FP&A teams in Singapore
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate, with at least 5 years of experience
Preferably with BPO / Shared Service experience
Demonstrated attention to detail, time management skills, ability to prioritize, and adapt to change
Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Knowledgeable in ERP accounting software such as Oracle Fusion
