Plays primary role of interface between the business analysts, developers and testers.
Assists with requirement gathering and definition. Converts business requirements into technical specifications, technical project plans.
Works with business analysts/super-users in understanding the technical impact of configuration and design options.
Supports testing/QA team in the development and execution of test plans. Perform long flow (or integration) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Writes scripts and sets up test cases and test data for performance (load and stress) and system integration testing, particularly packaged application configurations.
Supports to ensure continuity of IT services for functional users by providing the planning, technical leadership/training, project coordination necessary to implement technical solutions and resolve technical problems.
Plays the backup role of an application owner responsible for implementation and/or extension of existing applications and maintain relevant systems and processes.
Provides technical (L2/L3) support for applications managed by IT Test team. Supports the users and business analysts in troubleshooting both application and business process issues. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems/Business information Systems, Engineering
Experience in software development process from requirements definition to implementation, to test.
Technical experience in identification, evaluation and development of procedural and system solutions that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
Analytical and problem solving skills to address standard business and technical problems.
