You will be at the forefront of building out our new intranet!
With this being such a new initiative, you will need to have good interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with our internal customers. You will also need to have good analytical and critical thinking skills, to help tease out those elusive requirements.
Of course, being a team player, with great communication skills, comes naturally to you, and will help you stand out in this global team. Being comfortable training users on how to use SharePoint to its fullest and become citizen developers is also something that the team is passionate about.
The role will also provide 2nd and 3rd level support for various company systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
In-depth knowledge of developing web components with SharePoint Framework, Powershell, .NET, C#, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
Responsible for the development of SharePoint solutions, forms, web parts, flows using Microsoft Power Platform tools
Work with Business Stakeholders and IT Owners to gather, translate, and implement requirements to technical solutions
Provide sound estimates for level of effort required for all design, development, deployment, and testing phases
Create/update test plans, debug and record the results within the developer documentation
Compile all applicable development requirements material and produce solution scope documentation
Assist with promoting and deploying solutions through ALM model
Provide citizen developer training and support for improving developer skills and over-coming development challenges
Research and evaluate new related technologies
Qualifications
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent)
With at least 2 years of SharePoint Online developer experience
Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform Tools (Power Apps and Automate) and Powershell
Experience with CSOM, JSOM and REST
Experience with SharePoint Designer workflows and InfoPath forms
Applied experience in facilitating business requirements, research, and documentation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with people from many different disciplines
Strong time management skills to prioritize workload and satisfy project deadlines with the abilities to adapt to changing priorities
