Position Summary:
Provide support and enhancements to a wide variety of Software Applications utilized by the Business, International Sales offices, and other organizations in the company. This position is responsible for supporting key applications, investigating, resolving issues, and implementing new functionalities. Provides quality assurance testing for all the aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, to meet the requirements and overall quality for the intended use of the solution. This position employs testing and collaboration with technical peers to accomplish assignments.
The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills, initiative, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be flexible to work varying hours to support global markets, be willing to travel when necessary and be capable of adapting to an ever-changing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system standards and user requirements are met
Write, manage and execute test plans
Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios
Leverage HP Application Lifecycle Management, JIRA, SQL and other testing tools in the execution Quality Assurance activities
Gain understanding of operating environment, business processes and application functionality
Validate data and reports using SQL and other tools (where needed)
Report QA metrics and testing status
Identify, document and track issues found during testing
Coordinate with developers and project team members to triage and resolve issues
Participate and occasionally lead discussions in team meetings
Assist with migrations, standards and administration as needed.
Analyze issues in existing software and work with technical resources to resolve issues
Provide first and second level support for a wide variety of Software Applications
Train and support new staff members, to ensure that the overall team goes from strength to strength. A true team member

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Working knowledge of Quality testing and business process analysis, concepts, practices, and procedures in the Agile / DevOps environment.
Ability to demonstrate a certain degree of creativity combined with analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners
Capable of working independently and as part of a team. May assist and guide junior staff as necessary
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in Software Application support
Write and execute comprehensive Test Scripts and Use Cases
Professionalism in dealings with all touch points within the business.
