Overview:Role: ANALYST, IT QUALITY, IIIGENERAL DESCRIPTION:The QA IT Analyst establishes metrics, mentors team members and manages outside resources, as well as
developing test programs. The ideal candidate has to be hands on with the shell script, power shell, scripting
language or any other programming language used to automate the programs.Apart from doing day to day testing activities, he must also show case the leadership skills around the testing.
It is not only a functional testing role, it is beyond that.
The candidate should not be dependent only on tools to get the job done. Responsibilities:Job Duties/Responsabilities:
Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
Qualifications:Qualifications:
Hands on with any scripting language or programming language to get the automation done.
Awareness of tools to manage the test cases i.e. Test case management.
Ability to measure Performance metric of a web-based application either using Selenium or any other tool.
Awareness with Jenkins tool and how to do the CI/CD.
