Position Summary:
If these words describe you look no further! Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a high achiever to join our Treasury Department as an Analyst with our Capital Markets group. You will be responsible for daily management of our debt portfolio, modeling existing and proposed transactions, interacting with rating agencies and more. Other regular responsibilities include coordinating with Accounting to ensure debt transactions are recorded correctly, the maintenance of transactional data in the debt database and preparation of presentations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze and forecast -$1.0B of interest expense on $20B+ in debt
Calculate rating agency metrics weighted average cost of capital, weighted average cost of debt and other calculations as required
Coordinates with Accounting for proper reporting of all debt-related transactions and provides capital markets-related information required for quarterly SEC filings
Perform debt covenant compliance process and forecasts covenant ratio calculations
Prepare rating agency, lender, and Board of Director presentations as well as performing related analysis
Main point of contact between Treasury and Corporate Planning for inputs into long range model
Performs analysis of capital structuring alternatives
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field
MBA, CPA or CFA (including candidate) a plus
Ability to collaborate across the company, influence decisions and recommend a course of action based on data
Detail oriented and possess superior organizational, self-motivation and problem solving skills
Ability to drive process improvement by implementing checks and balances and identifying process steps that can be automated
Solid understanding of data analysis including intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel
Proficient in creating presentations utilizing PowerPoint
Familiarity with planning software (Oracle Smart View), ERP software (JDEdwards) and visualization tools (PowerBI)
Ability to produce high quality and error free work under right deadlines
