Analog Power Products (APP) Engineer - TI Philippines, Clark
The selected candidate will thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment working in a global role with members of the APP PE team in the Philippines, China, Germany, India, Malaysia, Taiwan and USA, including internal and external TI sites. This role is expected to deliver a high level of technical contribution to the Analog Power Product Lines with focus on Cost Reduction, Test Quality Improvement, and Capacity and Operational Efficiency Improvements, including Test Qualifications and Test hardware and software conversions to enable continuity of supply on Analog Power Product (APP). These key objectives will be achieved through innovative development work to drive operational excellence for the APP business.
The nature of this role, while technically and functionally challenging, will be highly rewarding in both professional and personal development for the selected candidate. The role requires a unique set of skills both from a global and local perspectives. The nature of the technologies which are developed within the APP business makes the engineers working in this market space highly specialized and uniquely valuable in TI. Minimum requirements:
Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering
With 0-2 years of related working experience
Responsibilities include:
Work with design team to understand design specifications
Generate test plan, creating test and char program, designing ATE hardware interface boards
Debug characterizing silicon on ATE, correlate results with bench data
Analyze silicon results, supporting failure analysis tasks
Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debugging and fixing yield issues; optimizing test time
Work with production team to release products to volume production
Create test strategy definition and implementation for new products
Work silicon qualification & characterization including qual hardware development
Comprehensive device debugging, design validation and failure analysis
Drive for robust and cost-effective test solutions while being accountable for product quality
