The Group
Currently based in Ireland, Spain and Philippines, the Consumer Sensing and Processing Technology (CSPT) group's charter is to deliver leading edge solutions which will improve the end user experience of portable products. This is being achieved by driving constant innovation in - * Auto Focus (AF) and Imaging solutions for camera phones
Capacitive proximity and user input devices to measure and manage the user's touch on portable and wearable solutions
With a goal to deliver sustainable growth, the CSPT group is now looking to hire an experienced Analog Design Engineer to work with the team to expand our customer solution experiences and help solve our customer system problems.
Requirements
Electronic Engineering degree with 10+ years' experience as an analog designer and mixed signal lead. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of analog and mixed signal electronics, tools and flows. Strong people management, inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills are required. The successful candidate will be expected to take a lead role in the development of new products from architecture selection to implementation and debug. Travel to support product definition should be expected. Experience of integrating analog blocks (converters, power management, etc.) in complex microcontroller systems would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be based in the Philippines and be responsible for:
Technical lead in a consumer focussed mixed signal design group
Leading the detailed definition of high performance mixed signal devices
Using recommended design and verification techniques, tools & flows to produce efficient designs which meet all specified functional, power and timing objectives.
Successful integration of analog blocks into larger mixed-signal systems.
Continuing to improve CSPT's analog design methodologies consistent with the group's wider business objectives to reduce time and cost to market.
