Job Description
About the role:
We are looking for an Amazon Media Strategist who loves all things Amazon; you know how to get the most from your Prime membership, and Amazon is your first stop for all your shopping needs. In this role you will oversee the fundamentals in Seller Central and Vendor Central. You will oversee the creation of product listings, A+ Content, seller support case management, and reporting of data and performance.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Identify opportunities to increase revenue through the creation of strategic and targeted ads for assigned clients.
Develop and implement highly segmented campaigns across various types, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Displays.
Monitor the performance of ads across assigned client accounts, analyze data, and make necessary adjustments to optimize campaigns for success.
Conduct ongoing keyword and competitor research to identify targets and opportunities for sales growth on Amazon.
Provide insights and recommendations on improving poor-performing accounts, such as addressing SEO, image quality, and copywriting issues.
Stay updated with industry trends and developments in Amazon PPC and share knowledge with the team to implement new strategies.
Manage inventory, including forecasting, creating shipments in Seller Central, and coordinating with third-party logistics partner (3PLs).
Create compelling A+ content and optimize Amazon listings to engage customers and enhance product visibility.
Publish Amazon posts and ensure the accuracy and maintenance of product listings.
Monitor customer reviews, manage cases, and collaborate with seller support to resolve any issues promptly.
Generate reviews and implement merchandising efforts to drive sales growth.
Expand marketplace presence to other countries by creating product variations and coordinating with Brand Registry.
Communicate with Brand Registry to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Ensure accurate inventory management, including filing shipment discrepancies of coordinating with 3PLs.
Must Have Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in a client-facing role.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.
Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and implement changes based on data analysis.
Familiarity with editing and uploading Amazon flat files, creating variations, and navigating Seller Central or Vendor Central accounts.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and efficiently execute tasks.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working on Amazon advertising, or Amazon storefronts.
Prior agency experience.
