Qualification Standard
• Preferably a graduate of Vocational Course relevant to the job
• 7 years relevant experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Daily monitoring and operation of the airconditioning units (ACU).
Conduct weekly maintenance work of aircon system and perform the following maintenance activities, if necessary: (a) cleaning of all filter blower; (b) evaporator and condenser; (c) replacement of drier core, expansion valve; (d) pressure gauges and controls, (e) calibration of electrical controls; (f) repair of leaks, Freon charging; and (g) other related mechanical maintenance work of the entire system.
Maintenance of the air diffuser, which is an integral part of the centralized ACUs, to ensure proper airflow. Routine checking of ducts and relay/switches should also be undertaken.
Perform minor repair work such as: (a) repair of leaking pipes; (b) replacement of bearing and fan belt; and (c) rewinding of electric fan motor.
Quarterly periodic maintenance of window and split type ACUs, to include the following: (a) weekly cleaning of ACU filter; (b) quarterly cleaning/washing of ACUs; (c) installation/charging of freon if needed; and (d) replacement of broken/worn out parts.
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
