We are not set in our ways, we are agile and improve continuously with a mindset of welcoming new ideas The Job: The Team is part of a large delivery with the responsibility for all development, delivery, and support of IT solutions for our Automotive Client in the field of embedded software. If you are interested in topics like connected vehicles, autonomous driving, digital twin, and new ways of handling the deployment of the vehicle software, this is the place for you. As the Software Architect, you will define end-to-end technical solutions that consider the enterprise architecture strategies, current state environment and constraints within the embedded software area, collaborating with all delivery teams inside the solution center, as well with stakeholders at technology, production, and aftermarket areas. As part of our clients digital transformation, we are moving from application centric solutions to microservices, and we expect you to contribute to the definition of the new cloud-based architecture at our Solution Center sometimes driving changes, sometimes collaborating with other teams. Your future duties and responsibilities: Assignment Description and Responsibilities: As the Software Architect, you will define end-to-end technical solutions that consider the enterprise architecture strategies, current state environment and constraints within the embedded software area, collaborating with all delivery teams inside the solution center, as well with stakeholders at technology, production, and aftermarket areas. As part of our digital transformation, we are moving from application centric solutions to microservices, and we expect you to contribute to the definition of the new cloud-based architecture at our Solution Center sometimes driving changes, sometimes collaborating with other teams. It is expected that the Software Architect also works with solution development as coder at some percentage of time in this assignment. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: We are looking for a person with advanced technical skills, open minded and honest team player who appreciates fun at work. This is an onsite team and you live in or close to Gothenburg with the possibility to be in the office 1-2 days a week. Besides that you can work from the Bahamas if you like. We expect you to have experience in process definition, documentation and implementation. Strong analytical skills. Agile experience or at least willingness to learn and adapt.
