Job Description Designs, develops, documents the technical standards for the Access Network. Develop and maintain Access Network architecture diagrams. Development test plans and supporting documentation of all Access Network configuration upgrades, additions or revisions. Drive Access Network engineering projects by participating in the planning of network architecture, design. Effectively coordinate team-work activities, organizing and running effective meetings. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal business partners. Execute handoff plan and knowledge transfer to Implementation Teams. Helps plan projects or subtasks. Including planning required outside of the immediate or assigned tasks. Identify improvement opportunities in organizational process or technical environment. Identify opportunities to increase Access Network reliability and reduce costs.
Reviews plans and bill of quantities of proposed/new and existing facilities. Highlights possible subjects of concern and suggest solutions/ course of actions.
Prepares low level estimates/BOQ for site facilities.
Performs joint technical survey and pre-construction survey works of proposed facilities (greenfield, rooftop, existing facilities/ coloc. etc) and other related installations such tower retrofitting, power upgrade, facility upgrade (outdoor unit pad, genset, aircon, etc.) to support EWO/OWO
Inspects/audits on-going project/s at site to ensure good quality of workmanship and meet targeted deliverables.
Verifies variation work items which may incur additional cost and review impact on schedule.
Validates bill of quantities in reference to actual work accomplished.
Conducts acceptance and inspection of completed work items and check/ensure correctness of details in as-built plans.
Maintains effective project information management and documentation for project tracking and reference
