What are we looking for:
Multiplymii is in search of an Advertising Manager, who will be working with our client partner based in Toronto, Canada - a company specializing in sports and outdoor products and has been involved with e-commerce for almost 8 years already. Our client manufactures their own products and has a couple of brands selling in the US, CA, MX, and European marketplaces. We are in search of an Advertising Manager to oversee operations and direct advertising staff in developing unique campaigns. Our client's brands are sold on both Amazon and Shopify, experience with both platforms is a must. The Advertising Manager will collaborate with advertising staff to establish project objectives, delegate tasks, direct research, and evaluate projects to ensure they meet company expectations.
To be a successful Advertising Manager, you should be focused on raising awareness and building interest in the products and services you represent. You should be a detail-oriented, creative, and collaborative problem solver with outstanding communication and project management skills. Responsibilities will include supervising and working with other employees, establishing project goals, and monitoring, approving, and evaluating campaigns and projects.
The position will require one to be highly organized and work hard to outperform the competition. We are looking for someone who will bring their expertise to the table, providing their own ideas and direction to improve ad performance across multiple channels. Beyond experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English communication in written and verbal form.
This role is 100% work from home.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Oversee advertising department operations and staff members
Work with staff to establish and meet project goals, budgets, and timelines
Develop advertising strategies to increase buyer interest in products or services
Develop a strategy to increase brand awareness
Monitor project progress, from planning to execution, to ensure it remains focused and effective
Negotiate contract specifications and terms with external parties. Manage agencies when needed
Initiate and direct research efforts
Collect and analyze data and present findings to management
Participate in the hiring and evaluation of employees within the advertising department
Conduct performance reviews for advertising staff and set quarterly KPIs
Provide expert advice on marketing and advertising methods for new or existing products or services
Develop and update SOPs
About You:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant field; management experience is preferred
Experience working with an Amazon Brand
Experience on both Amazon and Shopify platforms is a must
Understanding of design and marketing principles and techniques
Desire to grow a team and find new innovative ways to increase brand awareness and sales
Ability to develop strategies based on industry trends and developments
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, especially when working with multiple projects or teams
Excellent management, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills
Decisiveness and strong problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
Ability to develop and maintain working relationships
Solid sales and presentation skills
Shift/Schedule: The Advertising Manager will be required to at the very least work till 12pm EST with preference later into the day (until 2pm EST).
