The Advanced Business Analyst will be part of a team that interacts with end-users, and key personnel from Systems, Business and Budgetary organizations on a daily basis in refining business needs and priorities execution of assigned tasks product(s) development and configuration. The Business Analyst will have the opportunity to learn and develop federal and global budget planning and formulation skills and expertise as they worked assigned tasks across multiple projects in support of the federal customer. As a member of a robust cross-functional team the Advanced Business Analyst will often be required to work collaboratively in an agile setting, as well as independently on tasks assigned to them. Federal budget planning and formulation experience, strong analytical and problem solving skills, exceptional communication skills, and usage of OneStream's CPM 2.0 software are highly desired. The Advanced Business Analyst will be required to provide strong analytical analysis and documentation to convey task status, resolution and/or recommend solutions. Additionally the Advanced Business Analyst will be required to have strong verbal communication skills and be required to support the development and execution tasks required during an implementation of a new software, including but not limited to configurations, business/operation changes, and software releases. The position may be located in Washington, DC or Arlington, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Operate cross-functionally throughout the team, including technical and reports team to test advance approved solutions and ensure smooth development and delivery of software. . Research and devise solutions to system and/or business issues, to include, recommended cleanup steps for data issues and functional analysis of software, configuration or business impacts . Construct well-written solution communications that are concise and accurate for delivery to the client . Recommend ways to optimize the functionality of software and/or overall business processes and tools. . Identify means to streamline and/or automate business processes and solutions ew techniques and solutions. . Follow federal budget and spending news to understand and inform clients how this technology will benefit the future development platform. . Identify means to streamline and/or automate business processes and solutions Required qualifications to be successful in this role: An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. Basic Qualifications: . Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics or STEM related discipline. . Support recurring operational actions within the OneStream CPM 2.0 platform . Lead the analysis of problems and opportunities in order to formulate and develop new and/or optimized business requirements, capabilities and solutions aligned to enterprise strategies . Assist in the management of project information, such as scheduling, coordinating, facilitating, and communicating all logistics of meetings, workshops webinars video conferences teleconferences and training sessions. . Follow Business Process Improvement methods by identifying, documenting, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating processes and SOPs, as well as continuous improvements and automated solutions. . Develop and implement change management and communication strategies. . Provide subject matter expertise to system implementation activities, including testing, data management and migration, and configuration. . Be detail oriented, flexible, proactive, and multi-task to quickly adapt to changing client priorities and respond to ad hoc requests. Desired qualifications: . Generally Accepted Budgeting and Accounting Principles/Accounting Education Background is a plus . Experience working in an Agile framework and tools . Experience with software development lifecycle .
