It is a specialized team of senior dev talent building large, complex web apps for USA startups. You will be working on the 86 Repairs team, helping build operations management software for the restaurant industry.

The 86 Repairs team is transforming a huge – but overlooked – problem in the restaurant industry: getting things fixed. While other parts of the industry are inundated with new technology and ideas (think: online ordering, ghost kitchens, POS), the repair and maintenance space has gone untouched. They’re changing all of that.
The 86 team is world-class. They’re a tight-knit group of 17 remote staff internationally who are thoughtful, ambitious, and creative people with diverse backgrounds, working together across 5 U.S. states and 2 countries. Tech Stack
From a technical perspective, we have consolidated on Javascript (Angular)/Typescript for the efficiency of working in a single language. We run a MEAN stack backed by AWS and Google Cloud services. We’re open to changing technologies if it will have a positive impact, but we’re not obsessed with chasing the latest thing. We consider maintainability, scalability, and most importantly, technology’s ability to delight our customers.
Our business is focused on solving real-world problems for real people. Our product team operates on the same philosophy. End users are incredibly important to us, and we keep 2-way communication open for immediate feedback.

As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a strong track record of delivering high-quality front-end work through creative approaches. You’ll have experience navigating user requests, getting to the heart of what they really need, and delighting them with a great solution. We expect everyone on our team to take ownership of their work without a lot of day-to-day supervision.
Managing repairs for restaurants may not sound very sexy on the surface, but when you dig in, you’ll find some complex, fascinating problems to be solved. We’re applying machine learning and narrow-AI techniques to our rapidly growing data set to craft never-before-seen insights for our customers. We need great people on our team to help us tell stories about our data.

Compensation & Benefits
P60,000-80,000+ per month on entry, DOE
