ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Training: Training plus Coaching provided
Reports to: Managing Director
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct reports
What is the Job?
Administrative support to marketing activities on, letters, email, data base of production generated on a monthly basis.
Prepare and maintain accounting documents /records and reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Keep regular entry on financial data and transactions in excel file
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation on problems and discrepancies
Collaborates with other associates on emails, back up billing support, renewal notices, files, claims, etc.
What will you do?
Collating, faxing, emailing invoices and billing statements to clients
Update and maintain various spreadsheets
Able to adapt to a high pace working environment to meet deadlines
Answer accounting related questions/requests from clients, insurers and banks.
Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry.
What you need to be successful?
Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy or any related field
2 years of related experience and/or training
Nice to Have
Leadership and management client experience
Outstanding command of the English language both written and oral
Incredible people skills
Administrative and accounting mindset
Great powers on persuasion and presentation skills (Power Point)
Client relationship focused
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work to very tight schedules
High degree of Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision
Skills
Motivated and able to work with frequent interruptions to meet deadlines
Strong listening, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Detail oriented, with ability to manage conflicting priorities
Proven accounting/administrative experience
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Hands on Experience with spread sheets and financial report
