Position Title: Admin Safety Custodian (Internal Security)
Classification: Internal Staff
Salary: P12,000
Reports To: General Services Manager
Primary Relationships: Internal Teams and client staff
Date: August 2022
Schedule: Flexible Shifting Schedule with a 12hrs duty
Background:
Admin Safety Custodian will be the main point of contact, in the event of any emergency or
security incidents that occur on-site, ensures the protection of the entire facility, and assets by preventing offenses or escalating incidents to proper authorities immediately, maintains the facility by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls, identifies visitors and verifies appropriate documents while providing protection to employees, customers, and guests.
Responsibilities:
Reports to Office Management
Secures premises and personnel by performing random checks of designated areas for security breaches * Conducts inspections of property, equipment, and access points regularly
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance through collaboration with the Maintenance and Housekeeping Department
Assist maintenance and housekeeping department during maintenance emergencies
Prevents losses, fire causes, and health emergencies by reporting irregularities
Responding to alarms and emergencies within the premises
Controls and directs designated parking areas
Completes daily reports by recording observations (in and out of visitors), information, occurrences, and surveillance activities * Monitors surveillance cameras and authorize surveillance reviews with the assistance of the I.T department.
Assist employees and the Managers in times of need
Liaising with the managers in the case of suspicious activities
Intervene to possible casualties
Assist visitors and enforce regulations
Receive deliveries and informs procurement department
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of standard and security procedures
Physically fit
Good verbal and written communication
Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
Outstanding surveillance and observation skills
Critical thinker and problem solver
At least high school graduate
Understands the importance of authority
Good leadership skills
