Job Summary:
The Acupuncturist is responsible for providing professional acupuncture treatments to clients in accordance with traditional Chinese medicine principles and established clinic standards. The role focuses on promoting healing, pain relief, and overall well-being through holistic care and patient-centered treatment plans.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough consultations to assess patients' medical history, symptoms, and overall health condition.
Develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans based on diagnosis and client needs.
Perform acupuncture therapy safely and effectively using sterile, single-use needles.
Provide additional holistic therapies or recommendations as appropriate (e.g., cupping, moxibustion, lifestyle guidance).
Educate patients on treatment goals, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and progress documentation.
Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment environment.
Collaborate with other wellness or medical professionals as needed to support integrated care.
Stay updated with the latest research, techniques, and safety standards in acupuncture and traditional medicine.
Qualifications:
Licensed Acupuncturist with valid PRC or DOH certification (as applicable).
Bachelor's degree in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or related field.
Proven experience as an Acupuncturist (preferably from clinic or wellness center setting).
Strong knowledge of meridians, acupoints, and diagnostic principles of traditional Chinese medicine.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach.
Work Schedule:
Part-time or full-time (depending on clinic needs).
Flexible working hours between 4-8 hours per day.
