Job Description
What this Job Entails:
The Active Directory Administrator has experience in the design and configuration of large Active Directory and Windows Server environments. The AD Administrator is expected to facilitate operational support to and on behalf of the assigned team. The assigned team supports and maintains a variety of large and global scale systems for building management and physical security operations.
Scope:
Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform server and Active Directory Services administration and management to include design, cleanup and routine maintenance and configuration
Analyze current state of AD, FIM/MIM, Azure AD configuration and OU structure
Identify service accounts, admin-level user accounts, machine accounts and special use-case accounts
Analyze OU structure current state compared to best-practice
Identify and recommend changes to OU structure and account/object membership to meet the need for effective AD management including management of privileged accounts
Develop deployment steps and scripts to implement approved changes to directory systems
Deploy and validate approved changes

Required Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 8+ years' related Active Directory operations and engineering experience with increasing responsibility; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Active Directory in a distributed multi-site, multi-domain environment
Automation and scripting experience
ADFS, MIM/FIM configuration and management in a single tenant environment
Azure AD and Azure AD connect including attribute mapping
Scripting and PowerShell for operational procedures and deployment of changes to directory systems
Group Policy configuration
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel
Strong communication and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using, managing, deploying a Privileged account management system such as Thycotic or CyberArk
Experience with Identity provider / IDP solutions
Physical Demand & Work Environment:
Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must be able to use a computer
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
