Job Responsibilities * Retrieve necessary data from supplier portals i.e. RA (Remittance Advices) and RTV (Return-to-vendor) documents
Analyze collections deposited and submitted daily by the accounting staff
Daily process & record collections; apply to concerned customer ledger
Prepare corresponding credit memos for bad orders deducted outright by customers
Monitor and release to distributors credit memos for MOA (memorandum of agreement) deliveries.
Issue the necessary Collection Receipt for customer payments that have been deposited and cleared
Daily monitor accounts with overdue transactions and communicate the necessary "Hold Order" to the Accounting Supervisor.
Prepare customer's statement of account and send accordingly
Track and resolve any outstanding payment issues with the concerned party and closely coordinate with the salesperson responsible for the account.
Follow up collections from the sales person or distributor as needed
Generate and analyze Accounts Receivable reports such as but not limited to Open Invoices Report, AR Aging Analysis.
Identify, discuss and execute necessary process adjustments and/or improvements.
Reconcile accounts if necessary
Protect company's value by keeping information confidential.
Skills and Qualifications
BS degree in Accounting, Accounting Technology, Financial Management or any related course
Experience in Accounts Receivable an advantage but not required
Highly motivated, proactive, productive and dependable
High attention to detail and accuracy
