Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and reconciliation.
Accurately calculate and process royalties payments to vendors and licensors based on established agreements and sales data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze sales data, contributing to accurate sales forecasting and financial planning.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to create detailed financial models, spreadsheets, and reports to support decision-making processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries, discrepancies, and payment-related matters.
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable, royalties computation, and sales forecasting.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on royalties computation and sales data forecasting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, vlookups, and data analysis.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is a plus.
