SUMMARY: Responsible for performing a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the accounts payable function. This generally includes receiving, processing, and verifying invoices and reviewing purchase orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Heavy data entry
· Accurate processing of vendor invoices
· Reviewing and reconciling invoice discrepancies
· Monitoring discount opportunities
· Resolving purchase order
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Advanced computer skills with ERP systems
· Ability to enter all vendor invoices timely and meet established goals
· Proficient in data entry
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Possess customer service skills
· Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
2 to 4 years accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred15
