Evergreen Rubber Corporation is seeking a proactive individual with a proven high-quality work ethic to fill the position of Accounts Payable Officer to support the company. The individual must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Management Accounting to qualify for the job position. The all-encompassing role of the Accounts Payable Officer is to work closely with the other Accounting Officer.
The following are the job qualifications:
•Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management Accounting. Seniors graduating with an eligible Bachelor's degree in 2024 may apply. Please provide a TOR or any equivalent document for review.
•Process invoices and payments:
-Verify accuracy and completeness of invoices.
-Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports.
-Apply appropriate discounts and calculate taxes.
-Process payments according to company policy and vendor terms.
•Maintain vendor accounts:
-Ensure accurate vendor contact information.
-Track outstanding invoices and payments.
-Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.
•Resolve discrepancies:
-Investigate and resolve invoice errors and payment discrepancies.
-Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
-Maintain records of resolved issues.
•Ensure financial accuracy:
-Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable records.
-Prepare reports on accounts payable activity.
-Stay up-to-date on tax laws and accounting procedures.
•Additional responsibilities:
-Identify and implement process improvements.
-May supervise accounts payable clerks or other staff.
-Participate in audits and financial reporting.
•Additional skills and qualifications:
-Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
-Knowledge in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP.
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
