Accounts Payable Lead
About the job:
Oversee the Accounts Payable functions for America, EU and ASIA sites
Be relied upon as the main point of contact for resolving complex A/P related issues, ensuring compliance with vendor-payment terms.
Works with external departments, vendors, and foreign partners to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of payments.
Review and analyze AP team progress and keep track on individual KPI's
Close monitoring of the GRIR / HELD and A/P Aging, ensuring aged items are resolved and proper review and reconciliation processes are in place.
Maintain documented A/P best practices, identifying inefficiencies and recommending changes for review by Accounting Manager/Controller
Ensuring Adherence to SOX requirements and periodic review of SOX documentation for the processes of P2P and regularly review/updates AP BPP's
Monitors the AP Mailboxes to ensure timely response and resolution of issues.
Performing audits of accounts payable records to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies
Periodically reviewing, tracking and reporting the performance of Accounts Payable to simplify the processes and improve team's performance
Supports in Audit process (internal/external) by maintaining records of accounts payable transactions
Accurately perform and complete month-end close journal entries including accruals and adjustment
Reviewing vendor advances and ensure timely clearing and avoid duplication
Assist Account Manager in improving AP Process and ensure compliance is in place
Ad-hoc tasks and miscellaneous AP projects as required by top management (ESA/RPA)
About you:
Education: Bachelor or university degree
Experience: Five to seven years of experience with at least two years at a supervisor level
Supervisory skills
Advanced knowledge in MS Office
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail
