Accounts Payable Analyst
Prepares journal entries by compiling, analyzing, and verifying financial transactions as needed. Reconciles accounts as requested. Performs internal audits as needed to ensure internal controls and compliance with accounting standards. Researches, tracks and resolves accounting problems. Assists in month end/quarterly/year end close process and reporting. Assists with the preparation of tax and regulatory filings.
About the job:
Compiles, verifies and audits transactions for accuracy to prepare for journal entries. (75%)
Researches, documents and resolves accounting issues. (10%)
Conducts internal audits for internal control purposes and to comply with current accounting standards. (10%)
Assists with regular tax and other regulatory filing requirements. (5%)
Other duties as assigned.
About you:
College graduate of bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or any related courses
With at least 1 year working experience
Knowledgeable in MS Office
With strong analytical and communication skills
High attention to detail
