About the Role:
Based in Sydney, Australia, this position is an integral part of assisting the finance manager and accounts team while also ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company's policies.
Some of your duties may include (but not be limited to):
Ensuring the quality and accuracy of financial records
Full function accounts payable and receivable transactions
Weekly and fortnightly payroll through Xero
Managing receivables and debt collections
Reconciliations and reimbursement management
Accounts auditing and record maintenance
Ensure tasks and projects within the finance department are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
Accounts reporting, maintaining records in Xero, and assisting with P&L.
Liaising with the various organization departments
About You:
The successful applicant will be an experienced accounts professional who is self-motivated and has exceptional organization and communication skills.
Our ideal candidate will have:
A strong record of achievement with proven accounts and bookkeeping experience, Australian working experience is preferred
A relevant business/ commerce/ accounting qualification (ideal).
Xero accounting software (essential)
Excellent communication skills, positioning you well to build relationships with clients.
Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google applications/ software and HR platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
The ability to develop continuously, adapt and quickly learn new systems and processes.
The ability to prioritize well, balancing quality and timeliness.
The ability to take initiative and work effectively in a team and also work autonomously
