WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We're seeking an experienced virtual Accounts Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of
daily accounting operations as our company grows. This includes payroll, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, receipts, budgeting, revenue and expenditure forecasting,
month and end-year processes, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, fixed asset activity, and debt activity.
We're looking for an applicant who wants to grow to their full potential with our team and company over the next 5 to 10 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Help keep each of Control One's projects compliant within our guidelines and industry regulations.
-Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies, procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
-Create, modify, and maintain tracking and analytical documents.
-Ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
-Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
-Collaborate with external CPA firm to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
-Work with vendors, clients and sales reps to create and perform on purchase orders, work orders, invoices and reimbursements.
-Collaborate with HR Manager for employee and independent contractor payroll and funding.
-Interact at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports as needed.
-Meet timelines and promptly respond to notifications.
-Work productively with minimal supervision and reach out when you need help.
-Track Inventory through our inventor management software. Equipment is distributed to sales reps and technicians, which must be tracked and amounts maintained, returns and refunds logged.
-Exhibit an approachable demeanor and treat all other team members and customers with courtesy and respect.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-A solid understanding of inventory and accounting software. We use Zoho as our primary platform for this: Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory specifically. Must also be proficient in Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Taxation / Tax Laws, Cost Accounting, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
-Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
-Personal drive, initiative and resourcefulness
-Strong organizational skills within highly dynamic changing environment
-Personal computer to be used for work, with a reliable internet connection and in case of loss of power or internet, a back-up plan or location that provides power and internet connection within 30 minutes of an outage
-Quality USB Headset with noise cancellation technology
