As we grow, we seek a skilled Accounting Supervisor to lead our accounting team and ensure financial accuracy across all dealership operations.
Position Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor will oversee daily accounting functions, manage a team of clerks and junior accountants, and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and optimizing dealership profitability through sound financial practices.
 
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings, including preparation of trial balances and financial statements.
Collaborate with sales, service, and parts departments to ensure accurate revenue recognition and expense tracking
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
Train and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an automotive dealership or retail environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
