ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
 
Job Description
 
We are looking for Accounting Supervisor who will be responsible in overseeing the operation of the accounting department and ensuring that the existing processes an procedures are carried out as approved, such as, but not limited to invoicing and collection function, and likewise propose and impose improvement that may be deemed necessary.
 
Job Description:
Oversee the accounting department and ensure that tasks and functions of every team members are carried out as set
Ensure the accounting processes and procedures are carried out and followed
Handle branch payroll computation, and employee's deductions and consolidation of government statutory deduction for submission to head office and branch HR for processing and payment
Perform spot check and/or cash count of petty cash fund
Prepare and review periodic reports - monthly sales, collection forecast and attainment report, as needed
Review and verify computation of sales incentives and/or commissions
Generate, review and submit periodic sales report and analysis to appropriate department and/or offices
Record and ensure that all collection are recorded in the system and appropriate application are done
Check and review or approve sales invoices, trip tickets, deliveries, accounts payable request and other documents
Coordinate and assist the branch head and other department heads for any task that may be needed in the operation of the branch
Monitor and conduct performance appraisal/assessment to team members
Point person of escalation in the accounting department for other issues and concerns
Conduct credit worthiness of customer as requested for credit terms and credit limit proposal
Review and implement existing process flow and impose necessary improvement
Ensure compliance to tax reporting requirement of the branch - WT and EWT (AP) Other Task Job
Qualifications:
With at least 2 years Supervisory experience
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
SAP Business One exposure is ideal
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to direct and supervise BS degree in Accountancy or Finance
Must have an excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively across department functions.
