ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
 
Area Assignment: Lapu-Lapu City
 
Job Scope
 
Ø  Initiate and implement effective system and processes and/or lead a team of accounting staff in handling General Accounting functions/activities.
Ø  Oversee General Accounting functions such as account reconciliation, accounts payable and financial reports preparation.
Ø  Complies with the national and local Philippine Financial Report Standards (PFRS), legal requirements on existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and internal control.
Ø  Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends.
Ø  Maintain accounting controls and internal policies.
Ø  Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting, tax audits
Ø  With relevant experience in Audit and Costing.
 
 
 
Competency Requirements
 
Ø  A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
Ø  Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Ø  At least 5 years of working experience in General Accounting or its equivalent
Ø  Strong understanding of auditing, accounting regulations and internal controls
Ø  Knowledgeable on government regulations & GAAP
Ø  With experience on general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Ø  With experience in accounting software (SAP)
Ø  Strong leadership and analytical skills
Ø  Expertise in advance excel and data analysis
Ø  Strong interpersonal, critical thinking skills and time management
Ø  With background on Quality Assurance and Process Improvement
