ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
 
Job Summary:
 
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of accounting principles, with specific experience in the construction industry being highly desirable. This role will involve overseeing the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support the company's financial health.
 
Job Description:
Supervise and mentor the accounting team, including assigning tasks and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including the timely processing of invoices and payments.
Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations for improvements.
Ensure proper allocation and reconciliation of project costs and revenues, collaborating with project managers to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and addressing any issues.
Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Stay current with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations that could impact the company.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
With at least 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
