Is urgently looking for:
 
ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
 
General Summary:
 
Responsible for multiple Accounting Functions, which includes AP, AR, Cost Control, Asset Management and Management Accounting. The position will directly report to the Accounting Manager.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares journal entries for closing books on a monthly basis. Ensures depreciation, amortization, and accruals are properly recorded. Revenue expenses must be posted in their proper entries.
Reconciles clearing accounts at the end of the month
Prepares weekly and monthly cash position and bank reconciliations
Reconciles all balance sheet and selected P&L accounts at the end of the month
Closes books by the 5th working day of the subsequent month
Checks payment vouchers prepared by AP
Assist the Accounting Manager in cost control and inventory
Audits daily revenue figures
Assists the Head of Finance in the preparation of all tax returns
Performs other tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager and Head of Finance as may be necessary
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
Proven experience as a General Accountant.
At least 5 years of related experience in Accounting of Theme Park or any related service industry
Knowledge of BIR regulations, accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Proficiency of accounting software and ERP systems.
