GOOD DAY! Dungan Constructors and Trading Corporation is looking for an Accounting Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
The position is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports and documentation, government filing, and all other accounting-related duties of the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual report submissions to government agencies such as but not limited to BIR, PHIC, HDMF, SSS.
Prepares bi-monthly payroll and submits contributions and reports and remits payments of SSS, Philhealth, HDMF, & BIR for the employee and the company.
Prepares monthly/quarterly schedule and Tax Returns (Withholding Tax, Income Tax, VAT Return)
Ensures the completion and computation of tax forms, returns, and financial statements with support schedules according to corporate timelines and government deadlines.
Process Payroll of Employees (Bi-Weekly / Monthly) and ensure all details are input accurately.
Reconciles day-to-day transactions.
Issues invoices/receipts to the customers and ensure all the details are inputted correctly.
Check billings, attachments, and pre-approve of suppliers and sub-con requests for payment prior to payment.
Builds relations with customers and takes ownership of Accounts receivables and credit control.
Ensures quality control over financial transactions, working with other team members and policies to ensure correct data is included on invoices raised by other team members.
Where relevant, recommends improvements to company processes to promote financial governance and increases in efficiency.
Oversees permit renewals needed for business operations such as but not limited to business permit, mayor's permit, and PCAB license.
Assists the Operations Manager with local company legal counsel and service providers for the processing of documents, company licenses and permits as required.
Prepares reports, working papers, and documents required by government agencies while ensuring strict compliance with reporting requirements and/or payment deadlines of entities that impose penalties on late and non-submission of reports and/or payments.
Collaborates with the company's external auditor to ensure compliance with BIR, SEC and others.
Other Tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
Preferably a CPA Board passer
At least two (2) years as an Accountant, preferably in a construction firm.
Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Knowledge using accounting software is an advantage.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
