Accounting SupervisorE&L Faster Food Imports Inc.

The Accounting Supervisor is primarily responsible in the performance of accounting functions in Cebu Branch to ensure that objectives and deliverables are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Procure to Pay
1. Receives request for payments from suppliers and internal customers (employees) such as but not limited to:
Local and foreign suppliers' invoices and billing statements
Employee advances, liquidations, and reimbursements
2. Checks and verifies the completeness and validity of the requests submitted in accordance with company policy and BIR requirements
3. Coordinates with the requestor and/or supplier for any clarification or discrepancies noted
4. Maintains vendor's contracts and information
5. Creates accounting entries based on the request for payments received in accordance with applicable accounting standards, company policy and BIR requirements
6. Ensures that all obligations are properly accounted for and processed on time
7. Prepares BIR Form 2307 in relation to the documents process
8. Prepare reports related to Accounts Payables as required to complete the month-end closing procedures
9. Coordinates with Accounts Payable and Treasury team in the head office
10. Serves as the Petty Cash Custodian
11. Disburse checks to suppliers
B. Order to Cash
1. Creates and issues invoices timely and accurately
Validates all supporting documents related to the sales transactions
Performs matching of data entered in the system against the supporting documents
2. Validates and process credit memos
3. Track exceptions between delivery and invoice registers
4. Maintains customer files
5. Prepare prepare related to Invoicing and Accounts Receivables as required to complete the month-end closing procedures
C. Records to Report
1. Serve as contact person of Head Office for any inventory-related reconciliation or inquiries
2. Serve as fixed asset contact person of Head Office for any reconciliation requirement
3. Manage and perform duties for monthly accounting close activities for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
4. Support quarterly or/and annual inquiries, requests, and activities originating from external auditors and tax consultants
D. Supervise Accounting Associate
E. Assist in the completion of projects assigned to the team
F. File and maintain all accounting records and reports within his function
G. Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, CPA preferred but not required
Minimum of 3 years' experience with exposure in all facets of accounting
Experience in audit, accounting outsourcing or shared services is a plus
Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot, Lookups, formulas etc.)
Experience in any ERP (Microsoft NAV, SAP, Quickbooks)
