ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Checks and receives Journal Vouchers, Accounts Payable Vouchers and Debit/ Credit Note prepared by different bookkeepers in the absence  of the Accounting Manager
Approves request for payments in the absence of the Accounting Manager
Recommends to the Accounting Manager the hiring and disciplinary action of personnel under the department
Prepares reports to management through the Accounting Manager
Prepares reports for BIR and other institutions to which the company has transactions
Reviews and evaluates existing accounting/financial systems and procedures affecting the financial resources of the company
Recommends improvements to the existing systems and procedures if necessary and supervise strict implementation
Conducts periodic verification's on materials  and production to ensure a systematic process flow of the materials from the time it is received to the time it is cold
Prepares report required by banks, government agencies and other financial organizations
Recommends measures to control costs and other factors to safeguard the assets and other interest of the company
Prepares financial budget and interprets actual results with variance analysis and corresponding explanations of variances
Checks and reviews allocations and distribution of funds to the different operating units
Coordinates with Bank on matters concerning the inflow and outflow of cash transactions from and to the sales offices
In-charges of the preparation of Confidential Payroll of SUGECO Cebu, Inc.
Responsible for the programming/scheduling of payments to suppliers, creditors, funding requirements of the branches and other cash operating requirements
Assists the Accounting Manager in planning and controlling.
Performs other related task assigned by the Accounting Manager from time to time.
Qualifications:
Male or Female
Accountancy graduate
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
Must possess strong leadership qualities
Can work under pressure and minimum supervision
Computer literate
With supervisory/management skills
Average analytical skills
Good Working Attitude
