JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Staff member to join our finance team. This position will be responsible for supporting various accounting functions, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience (1-3 years) in accounting or finance, with experience in accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work well with teams.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing (optional but beneficial).
Certification such as Certified Bookkeeper or CPA (preferred, but not required).
