Our growing company is looking for a diligent Accounting Staff that will manage general accounting and financial processes of our business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, or mailing attentions.
Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections
Identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accounts to request payment.
Generating monthly billing statements
Assists Accounting Manager in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
Maintaining copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed
Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accountancy or BSBA or its equivalent
Must have experience in General Accounting - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bookkeeping and other regulatory compliance
Must be proficient in computer technology (Microsoft Applications, Excel macros and formulas)
QuickBooks Knowledge is a plus
With good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy
Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial files
Analytical, Organized and with good moral character and ethical standards
Keen to details and team player
Excellent communication, record keeping, research, problem-solving, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Must have good communication skills
