ACCOUNTING STAFF
 
Job Brief:
 
The Accounting Staff works directly to the owner. Maintain accounting documents and records. The Accounting Staff is responsible in daily billing records, such as accounts payable and receivable. 
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
- Provides accounting and clerical support to the owner
- Types accurately, prepares, and maintains accounting documents and records
- Reconciles accounts in a timely manner
- Daily enters key data of financial transactions in database
- Provides assistance and support to company personnel
- Researches, tracks, and restores accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Compiles reports/summaries on activity areas
- Functions in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
 
Job Requirements:
 
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an accounts receivable clerk or accounts payable clerk
- A graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Familiarity with basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS office and databases
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized
