JOB OBJECTIVE: Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, responsible for preparation of payment for salaries and wages of employees.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepares, analyzes and submits reports to immediate superior;
2. Updates and maintains accurate records and all other important
documents;
3. Prepares payroll of employees;
a. Schedule of deductions;
b. Prints and checks payroll register and earnings/deduction
summary;
c. Prepares payroll entry;
d. Computes for the last pay of resigned employees;
e. Computes and updates tax annualization ;
4. Issues price notice to customer and another department;
5. Prepares, updates and submits monthly and quarterly reports such as
SSS, HDMF, Philhealth, NSO and PEZA Reports;
6. Updates subsidiary ledgers;
a. Advances to officers and employees;
b. Educational Loan Receivable;
c. Car Maintenance Loan Receivable;
d. Contingency Loan Receivable;
e. Car Loan Receivable;
f. Accrued bonus and 13th month;
7. Prepares monthly fixed general journal vouchers;
a. Accrued payroll;
b. Computes employers contributions to SSS, HDMF and
Philhealth;
c. Accrued 13th month pay/ bonuses ;
8. Issues certificate of contributions for SSS, Pag-ibig and Philhealth;
9. Prepares withholding tax alphalist and issues certificate of compensation (Form 2316) for all employees;
10. Makes bank transactions such as encashment, payments and submission of ATM applications.
11. Records 2nd half payroll transactions to Plaza Accounting System;
12. Participates to semi-annual physical inventory;
13. Participates to annual fixed asset inventory audit;
14. Participates and supports in all corporate quality, productivity, continuous improvement (Kaizen), occupational safety and health, environmental activities.
15. Performs 5S in the work area;
16. Performs other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the immediate superior related to the attainment of the department objectives.

o Education: BS Accountancy Graduate or its equivalent.
o Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o At least two (2) years of experience in the same field.
o Knowledge in Accounting system and principles.
o Skills: Analytical, Numerical and good Communication skills both in
English and Filipino.
o Has good sense of responsibility. o Has good sense of
responsibility.
o Proficient in the use of computer applications;
