Description
Basic Function:
The collections clerk position is accountable for collecting the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers, which may include a variety of customer location techniques, collection methods, legal claims, and the selective use of outside collection services.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Creating and maintaining credit history files
2. Supporting the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio
3. Documenting daily collections activity
4. Researching account disputes and billing discrepancies
5. Performing account/payment reconciliations
6. Responding to credit inquiries from external and internal clients
7. Identifying delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
8. Identifying bad debt or financial exposure
Qualifications:
1. Graduate of any 4-year business course.
2. Must have at least 2 years work experience in related function.
3. Candidates should have excellent customer service, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
4. Must be detail oriented, with the ability to work independently.
5. Willing to work in Karuhatan, Valenzuela City.
