ACCOUNTING STAFF (AR ASSOCIATE)
Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate management of the company's receivables. This includes generating invoices, managing collections, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records of all client transactions. The role is essential to optimize cash flow and ensuring receivables are collected within agreed timelines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Issue invoices and statements to clients, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing information.
Manage customer accounts, track overdue payments, and perform follow-ups for timely collections.
Reconcile client accounts, promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on accounts receivable status, including aging analysis.
Coordinate with clients to resolve billing and payment disputes professionally and efficiently.
Assist in month-end closing processes to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Support internal audits and reviews related to accounts receivable processes.
Maintain and update accounts receivable files, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Handle any additional duties assigned by the AR Section Head.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients regarding payments.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities to reconcile discrepancies.
Knowledge of financial principles and experience with accounts receivable processes.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Prior experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role is preferred.
Familiarity with invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation is advantageous.
