We are looking for an:
 
ACCOUNTING STAFF – ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
 
Summary Job Descriptions:
 
Responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
 
Job Tasks and Responsibilities as Accounting Staff:
Ensures that payments from the clients on credit are collected on a timely basis
Issue official receipt upon receipt of the payment
Post the clients payment in the subsidiary ledger on a timely basis
Monitoring of deposits online
Endorse credit line application to Accounting Head
Handles OTA collection payment as advised by customers
Prepare and send statement of accounts to outstanding customers
Submit weekly report of aging receivables
Conducts monthly credit and collection meetings with sales department.
Conduct credit investigations for all credit line application
Ensures proper and timely recording of transactions in the subsidiary ledger (Standardized Report)
Provide back up support to other groups in the accounting department, type periodic reports and perform administrative duties supports hotel operations
Compile and sort documents, prepare and post invoices and credit and debit memos
Handles petty cash fund
Perform other task that the management will ask to do so
Reports directly to Accounting Officer/Head
Other responsibilities not articulated here but deemed appropriate and needed by the company
