MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience with inventory management
Revenue/cost recognition familiarity
Bank reconciliation
Detail oriented; organized; keen eye on expenses; able to identify booking errors (i.e. duplications, flag suspicious expenses, input errors)
Understanding of local and foreign taxes for merchandise purchasing (i.e. sales tax)
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace with short turnaround times
AR/BILLING SKILLS (preferred):
Ability to learn how to use accounting system
Can create projects, issue invoices, and post journal entries
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software, Excel skills; database queries (strongly preferred)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred
2+ years of experience as an accounting staff, procurement/purchasing or in a similar position
Good communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural and multiple expertise professional environment
Excellent in written and oral English
Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, possesses positive work attitude, strong will to learn and fast learner
Position is for full time, preferably can work in night shift but not required
