HIRING: ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Job Summary:
The Accounting Officer will oversee financial records, manage inventory reports, and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. The role requires coordination with warehouse, procurement, and site teams to ensure all transactions and materials are properly recorded and reconciled.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and daily transactions
Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payments
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
Monitor stock movements and coordinate with warehouse and site teams
Prepare audit schedules and assist in internal/external audits
Ensure compliance with BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and other regulatory agencies
Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain petty cash and monitor budget variances
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Support the Finance Manager in all accounting-related functions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, or any related field
With 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, including audit and inventory
Experience in a construction, warehouse, or logistics company is an advantage
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and government compliance
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and can work under minimal supervision
CPA is a plus but not required
