Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a Leading Food Manufacturer. Our respective client is looking for an Accounting Officer who will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable and General Accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reporting. This role requires leadership and people management skills. This role will be reporting to the Treasury Manager, with on-site work set-up and is located in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
Key job responsibilities include:
Oversee the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
Manage the General Accounting function, including journal entries, reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards
Manage and motivate a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as required.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and implement process improvements as necessary.
Work with auditors to provide documentation and support for audits as required.
Identify and implement best practices in Accounts Payable and General Accounting processes
Key job qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
With at least 5 years of experience in accounting, including 2 years of supervisory experience and 1 year of accounting officer level experience.

Experience with accounts payable and general accounting processes
Familiarity with Food manufacturing company accounting practices preferred.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
