Job Description • Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions;
Maintains records of financial transactions of general ledger thru manual/computer operated system;
Maintains accounting control by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures;
Monitor revenue and expenses, coordinating the collection and evaluation of financial data. Preparing special reports;
Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met;
Working with the retained CPA firm to ensure a clean and timely month/year end audit;
Preserves and takes custody of record i.e. Passbooks, bank statements of current accounts, cancelled checks, deposits slips, cash vouchers, receipts invoices and the like as basis for audit verification;
Submits/prepares regularly financial reports i.e. trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, bank reconciliations, schedules and the like;
Supervise mid/year end physical inventory and monitor warehouse transaction to achieve high accuracy of inventory movement;
Undertake other accounting and other incidental work as may be required by the company;
Perform other duties as directed.
Job Qualifications • With at least 2 years experience in General and Cost Accounting
Knowledgable in PFRS
Knowledgable and with experience in Cost Accounting and budgeting
Ability to review, analyze basic reports to identify errors, misallocated items, missing information
Strong reconciliation skills - ability to correct and identify duplicate transactions, best way to correct from bank docs, ensure supporting documentation
Familiarity working with accounting software such as Quickbooks or Xero
Knowledgable in preparation of Monthly Financial Reports (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Project P&L)
